MJM Manufacturing runs one of South Florida’s most capable precision fabrication floors — over 40 machines under one roof. Our laser department includes five Amada fiber laser systems (the 4kW Ventis with Locus Beam Control plus three 3kW Ensis units and a CO2 system), cutting mild steel up to 1″ and stainless and aluminum to 5/8″. Forming runs on nine Amada press brakes, including a 240-ton, 14-foot machine, alongside Knuth plate rollers up to 7 feet and an Amada CNC turret punch. We weld with nine IPG fiber laser welders, Sciaky spot welders, and certified TIG/MIG to AWS standards, machine on a Mazak CNC center, and verify every job with Amada Fabri-Vision and Keyence CMM automated inspection — all under our AS9100 and ISO 9001 certified quality system.

Founding of MJM Manufacturing

Founded in 1979 in a small two car garage, MJM Manufacturing has grown into a precision sheet metal fabrication and OEM manufacturing company serving aerospace, defense, robotics, industrial, and commercial industries across the United States.

Today, MJM Manufacturing operates from a 44,000 square foot manufacturing facility with more than 80 employees, supporting prototype through full scale production manufacturing with a focus on precision, craftsmanship, reliability, and long term customer relationships.

As a customer, I have been working with MJM Manufacturing for approximately 35 years. The expertise of Mike Mijares and his team at MJM is top notch. Whenever I have a new part design, I typically review the design of the part with MJM to ensure that I am using the most cost-efficient manufacturing process to produce the parts as economically as possible. There was a part that we had made years ago using a progressive die to emboss a curved channel into a sheet metal part. The cost of the progressive die for this part was $55K. The redesign of the part from MJM consisted of $1200 in tooling to make the new part profile. Parts came out great and saved tens of thousands in tooling. Lastly, whether MJM produces a prototype or a production run, the appearance of the part is pristine, no tool marks or scratches on any part. In the 35 years that I have worked with Mike and his team, I have found them to be one big family. Mike’s love for his business is refreshing!
